Jonathan Woodgate has been bought for 20 million euros.

He has flown to Madrid for a medical.

He will sign for 4 years with an option on the 5th year.

Good signing from what I have heard.

I put Cannavaro in my squad yesterday. I guess I got a little ahead of myself.

The line up should be the same with Helguera in midfield and Woodgate in central defense with Samuel.

english center backs
1: Sol Campbell
2: Jon Woodgate
3: John Terry

for £ 20 m we can and probably will let him go.
he's played 28 games for us since Jan 2003

i'll be gutted though... can't honestly understand why Madrid would want such an injury prone player though when they have the world to chose from.

If Real Madrid are lucky, he'll play 15 games this season. they overpayed for Owen, and underpayed for Woodgate, things always even out .
