Fuck man, we should have won this game. I'm not saying that because we didn't have the penalty called early in the game but we didn't make the most of all the possession we had. We needed to win this game because it's very difficult to do it at Toluca. A tie is just as bad as a loss IMO.

A pesar de manisfestar su deseo por terminar su carrera con las Chivas, Oswaldo Sánchez será vendido a los Tigres contra su voluntad

GUADALAJARA -- Apesadumbrado, sin ganas de entrenar, con la moral por el piso. Esa es la sombra que refleja Oswaldo Sánchez, quien ha perdido la sonrisa natural y franca en las últimas horas. Tampoco es la presión de la final ni la muerte de su padre, ocurrida hace seis meses.

La tristeza obedece a otra razón: la directiva ya lo tiene tratado con Tigres. Lo venderá a pesar de que él quiere terminar su carrera con Chivas.

Una fuente que ha participado en las negociaciones confirmó a ESPNdeportes.com que la operación prácticamente está cerrada en una venta que oscilará entre los 4 y los 4.5 millones de dólares, que entrarán a las arcas de Chivas antes de que expire la posibilidad de negociarlo ya que el portero quedará libre en junio de 2007.

Tigres tiene planeado presentar a Oswaldo como su nuevo refuerzo el 22 de diciembre próximo, como regalo navideño, antes de comenzar el anuncio de otros refuerzos que llegarán para cumplir la exigencia de Mario Carrillo, que obligará a su directiva a invertir casi 20 millones de dólares.

Oswaldo habló hace unos días con el dueño de Chivas, Jorge Vergara, quien según afirmó esta fuente, "sin mirarlo a los ojos", le dijo que sólo se quedaría en Chivas si aceptaba una reducción importante a su salario, que podría llegar hasta el 40 por ciento.

Oswaldo le insistió en que quería terminar su carrera en Chivas y que aceptaba un contrato de tres años más "con el mismo sueldo".

Antes del partido contra Cruz Azul, en los cuartos de final, un directivo de Chivas le permitió a sus colegas del Santos hablar con Oswaldo para hacerle una oferta por 1.5 millones de dólares anuales. "Ahorita estoy concentrado en la liguilla, discúlpenme. Cuando termine el torneo podemos hablar", les dijo el portero.

Los Tigres pagarían entre 4 y 4.5 millones de dólares a las Chivas, mientras que a Oswaldo le ofrecen un contrato por tres años, con un salario anual de dos millones de dólares.

La directiva que encabeza Jorge Vergara ha negado sistemáticamente que Oswaldo vaya a salir de la institución. Pero la condición para que se quede es reducirle el salario, lo cual el portero no acepta.

"Páganme lo mismo", le insistió Oswaldo a Vergara.

Ante esa situación, al saber que la directiva ya lo negoció, el portero decidió ya buscar casa y colegio para sus hijos en Monterrey.

"Está muy triste. En verdad no se quería ir de Chivas.

Hey Stunna, the one good thing about Chivas been Champion is Toluca finally gets to play the Libertadores directly. Chivas has to go to the crappy CONCACAF Cup but if they win it, they will qualify for the next World Club Cup Championship possibly in Mexico or Japan....

Well, it was only a matter of time before Oswaldo left after everything that had been talked about the past couple of weeks. After everything he's done and meant to us for the past 7 years, I can only wish him the best. I don't like the fact that he left because Santos offered him more money (even though he says that's not the only reason he left) but considering how it is today in sports, I can't say I'm not surprised.

I'd really like to see what Sergio Arias has and give him a chance to play. I know he's mentioned that he's been disappointed that he hasn't been given much of a chance but now that he's got one, lets see what he can do.
