Israeli Mistral surfer Gal Fridman won the men sailing gold medal!
This is the first ever gold medal for Israel and the second medal of Gal Fridman(won the bronze at Atlanta 1996).
Silver medal went to Greek Nikos Kaklamanakis and the bronze medal went to British Nick Dempsey.

This is the second medal for israeli sportsman at the Athens 2004 olympic games after the bronze meadl at the Judo of Arik Ze'evi.
