I'm just leaving CM0102 seeing as my 2012 game collapsed on itself.
After playing CM4 I am begining to notice that theres a bit to much focus on the bugs etc.
So I would say definetly buy CM4, you will be missing out if you don't

Since the CM4 demo was ridiculously slow on my PC, I didn't bother to get it. I'm sticking with CM01/02 and I don't really see the attraction of CM4 
There will be a new version of CM$ coming out with updated stats for the 03/04 season. I expect all the bugs will be fixed and that It will be out sometime later this year. Most likely Spetember, October ect.

CM4 is good, and it is very hard for me now to go back to CM01/02. One the other hand, I just... it's not as fun as It used be with CM01/02
i reckon cm4 is better, but not significantly.
it is basically the same game, with one awesome improvement, and that's the 2-D match engine. seriously, it is so much easier to see what is going right/wrong rather than just imagining. there are no other big additions, although your assistant manager helps you alot more and suggests stuff...the whole contract and transfer system is a lot better too (it tells you all the info you need to know on the one screen). however, i still reckon its too hard to sell players, even if you chuck their value to 1,000 pounds.
Most of the bugs are harmless, but there are a few real annoying ones...like when a group of international matches clash with a champions league match. you just have to go on holiday cos you can't play anyone cos everyone registered is away on international duty. anyway, i'd wait till the updated version with all the transfers and bugs fixed. but make sure of one thing: do get the game at some stage.

Haha, yeah i was pretty much the same, i was glued to the computer for hours on end playing CM01/02 and when i bought and played CM4, i got sick of it really easily because of the slowness and all the bugs. It also meant i had lost my desire to go back and play CM01/02, so i was away playing other games, but they got boring after a bit so now, i've decided to go back and try out CM01/02 again, and its back to the good ol' days.

and if u put enough effort into the tactical side, it is not too hard. but not as easy as 01/02 IMO. i'm as addicted as ever

I prefer CM4 but if youre computer can handle it very well then get 01/02. Still CM4 has pissed me off so much i get to season 05/06 with Arsenals new stadium and my attendences are f@#kd up. Whens the new patch coming out?

CM4 is much more fun than CM01/20 even though their is little difference between the quality of the games.

I'd if someone wants to buy a CM game, he should better wait for Cm03/04. CM4 has bugs, and these 18-0 scores to be stoped. Strikers should stop scoring 80+ goals. In general the match engine needs to be very improved. GO CM03/04 GO!!

I think it's unfair to compare the two games. After all, Cm01/02 was the peak of the cm3 series whereas Cm4 is just something brand new. As I see it, the Cm4 series will definitely be much much better than the Cm3 series, it just needs more time to develop. IMO, this very first version of Cm4 is still very poor and full of bugs although the introduction of the 2D match engine is a real revolution. So until now Cm01/02 is still better. But I think that when Cm03/04 will be released, we won't even think about making that comparison.

Look who recieves awards, look at how many injuries appear in the game...
Many of the bugs arent major, but that should be even more reason why we shouldnt have to put up with them!
