Ok...so What Do You Tell About Brazilian League?

ok, let's change the focus here, i guess some guys around thought i was kinda trying to take a golden focus over my fave team (what isn't a sin at all, is it? hehehehe), but that's ok.

i read here a guy saying that watches brazilian league in a normal tv network (not cable or else) as i understood...i guess he's english, dunno...

well, anyone from europe or south america or anywhere...just tell us brazilian people how do u watch brazilian league and how do u like it. have no mercy, tell what u think, the good and the bad, the best and the worse. u can tell the teams, players or whatever u do like or hate (i'd say santos don't count because of robinho, but it's ok).

I hate brazilian stadiums coz they're all messed up and they don't give, by far the same atmosphere u get from an european match...or even argetinian...i guess that ruins the show, u need people to make it worth. but most of the stadiums are quite empty (i'd like to know what european think about that) and they...well, simply don't look good.

so, u tell me...just push it.

The question is, what do YOU know about Jari Litmanen?!?

i guess he's finnish, not sure...he was for a good long time Ajax main player, specially in the magic year of 1995. Terrible to mark, classy shots and passes. I guess he played in barcelona too, didn't he? Not sure if he's playing again in Ajax, but his days are not as glorious as they were back in the Ajax domination times over europe. Good times for netherlands.

ok...now what do YOU know about Brazilian League?

I don't really like to watch brazilian football.

The pace of the games is just generally too slow and boring. The defenders make no pressure at all, I mean most defensive midfielders I see just stand there in front of the defence waiting for the ball to go near them.

I compare Brazilian League games to the games we have over here in the pre-season.

I don't care for Brazilian league games either for the same reasons, everything seems to be in slo-mo.. I find MLS a lot more entertaining.

I have watched some games on FSC but I can't say that it's the type of soccer that I like. Like some people already said the pace is too slow and there is too much dribbling and not enough passing.

I don't like it either but sometimes we have no option....

I fell asleep during the Vasco-Corinthians today... woke up to see Corinthians 3rd, and that was it...

Let's discuss Jari instead.

Best #10 of the 1990s in my opinion.

do u think so? well, it depends on the match and team ur watching to...the football here change depending on the region...it's funny...in rio, we really see a more slow pace football...in sao paulo (home for corinthians, sao paulo, santos, palmeiras) it is more a midfield passing based game...but anyway, it's always offensive.

we like english league here, specially arsenal matches, almost unanimous. but personally, i don't like italy serie a, for example. i find most of matches as slow as u say brazilian league is and too defensive...it seems it hurts for players to be on the pitch...

Eh, I watched that match too. :D

I'm a fan of the brazilian league for quite some time now. It's well balanced, has a good number of title contenders, there's always one or two surprise teams and you get to see great attacking football. Defenders and midfielders leave space for individual tricks and moves, so it's always fun to watch.
Having said that, the lack of defense sometimes gets on my nerves as well, and clearly all this teams would struggle in most european leagues for that reason.

The lack of atmosphere really brings it down in my opinion. But the pace is definitely slower, and instead of reliable play style, it's just flashy... like C Ronaldo :kader:
