Iraq earned their goals, fair enough. But at least earn them while having dignity in between all that.
If it was Portugal winning like that I'm sure everyone here would be bashing us, and I'm bashing Iraq. It's my right as a poster here, and there is no rule against it.

Let them celebrate. I remember the same attitudes in the Euro and look at the outcome. I just hope we get that far altough i doubt it. I give Iraq their props, they scored their goals well, even though the last 3 were close enough to the point where they almost didn't get enough time to put a second shot in.
But the red-card to Boa Morte was caused from a huge dive. And I don't think anyone else here can say they've ever seen a reff stop a corner just to tell players to tuck in their shirts. Iraq could've probably won fair because we didn't impress at all tonight, but at the same time there's no denying they got some help here and there.

Couple thoughts on the match:
-WHERE THE F*CK WAS THE DEFENCE? All the Iraqi goals could have been prevented if it weren't for our lax defending. Plus, Moreira was out of position on at least two of the goals.
-Boa Morte shouldn't have been sent off. The Iraqi player not only wasn't touched (at least from the camera angles I saw), he then went to ground faster than Francis Obikewlu (sic) getting out of the blocks.
-Finally, we have continued the tradition of sh*t starts in major championships with this display. However, unlike Euro 2004, I do not have faith in the lads, and I know that we will go on to lose against Costa Rica and Morrocco.
Again, my congratulations go out to the Iraqi squad and the Iraqi people. I guess that we can now officially say that IRAQ IS BACK

So, it's time for you guys to know what I think of Cristiano Ronaldo: HE IS A DAMN CANCER to any team! What has he got that makes him a star? Simple: He gives the press what they want: a few tricks with the ball. What does that do to his team? NOTHING!!
I have great discussions with my friends because of him. Some even laugh when I say that if I was a coach, that guy would never, ever, play in my team... The first thing I would do to him would be a loan to a second division team, so that he could learn how to play football.
How many times have you seen him loosing an easy ball? Or a chance for an easy cross? How many times have you seen him stopping a quick counter-attack? I've seen it too many times!!! He doesn't know a thing about positioning on the field. He doesn't know how to compensate positions when his team mates go up on the field. He never rises his head before a cross..
Oh, but wait, he does pretty tricks with the ball, so he's a star, right? And the girls think he's cute... oh boy, that must mean he is a superstar!
I would love to see him being coached by Mourinho... I would laugh to see him rotting in the bench until learning to play proper football.
And the Portuguese Olympic team needs to learn that having good names in a squad means nothing. I'm sick and tired top see the youth teams of Portugal to fail miserably despite having so many stars... Those kids never learn to be humble?? It's so ridiculous…
