Konami are so irritating. Why oh why don't they release ONE worldwide game in different languages. I've never understood their bizarre marketing, etc.

Because they want to cater for different markets... I'm pretty sure that many Asian people would prefer to play with their league's teams (Korea and Japan especially) in their language with their commentary. You're not buying it, so why whine? I don't see how this is much of a difference in terms of gameplay to the European releases. This is a Japan/Korea-only release, I'm sure most of the guys here won't even care for it because there aren't any European teams here.

And the fact that they can't fit everything they'd have to (10+ languages, 100ish Asian club teams, etc) onto a single DVD...

They said they DO have the TOP european teams in this game.

So you can expect at least Juve, Milan, Real, Barca, Man Utd, Bayern, etc.,etc. in the mix.

They do and it's called PES4.

This release is strickly for the Asia market, so what that it gets a few updates and improvements...

I am not sure about my own point ( ) , but I guess they do marketing about what people find from their game.
Maybe the mayority of their European customers like a pacey game (not us hardcore PES-ers of course) and most of the Asian people like a slower game. After all they are known for their patience

Ok, I'm not against making different games for different regions. They may release 34 different we games every year if they please, but what concerns me is the fact thet every year majority of people who has played all the Konami games, comes to conclusion that For-Japanese-Only ones are much better in terms of gameplay.
What is this, does japanese think we (europeans/americans) are too soopid to understand and appreciate such deep gameplay and right feeling they create for the home-made sims.

Well, I watched the video and saw no difference between it and the videos I've seen from We8 and Pes4 game footage.

I still reckon it's to do with the different styles of play. Asia is full of hardworking sides that are solid team units. European sides rely more on individuals and play a faster style of football.

Well my point is you can't possibly tell a difference without actually playing at least ONE of the games.

I have PES4 and it's a SPEED-fest.
