I just have a simple question. Do i have to change my tactics time to time to keep winning or can u just use one and worry about players.

You can countinuously use a tactic for about 1 to 2 seasons. The AI will then develop a crack for the tactic. So you only have to worry about switching once every few years.
Also it seems the AI only stores data for one tactic at any time. So once you have played one season with a different tactic you can switch to your original tactic for another 1-2 seasons

For me it varies greatly. With Norwich the computer cracked my tactics after just 8 games, with San Jose Earthquakes it took them 3 seasons. I usually change my tactics every time I lose.

Have to disagree with that cause your players actually adapt and improve at playing their position in a specific tactic over time so theres a motivation to stay with a tactic for a reasonable period of time. Also helps get a proper squad together cause you know which players to buy and what ppositions you need.
That said i havent ever tried changing tactics on a regular basis so how well does it work?

I see your point. I change tactics more to make the game more interesting. However, I do like using different tactics for different occassions (eg, 5-3-2 for tough away games, 4-3-3 for friendlies, 4-5-1 when playing for draws, sweeper for really tough games etc.). It adds a certain dimension to the game and gives me an excuse when I lose. I do also like to apply a squad rotation system because I always (rather stupidly) buy loads of great palyers and want to play them all. I also don't want to miss any really on-form players through never playing them. This tends to keep the whole squad happy, as well as slow down the computer at cracking my tactics.
