Online game and spacebar!

I'm trying to play a game online, and when we get to the squad selection part it says on the bottom right to press space bar to start. However, nothing happens when I press it!

Obviously the spacebar works, since I can type this--and it works on all the other menus in the game.

This is driving me crazy!

I have same problem

I have exactly the same prob. Everything works fine but I can't start an online game by pushing the spacebar :X
Did you find a solution for this problem, if yes plse help me out

Nope.

Glad I'm not alone though. I emailed ea sports but they treated me like an idiot (did you make sure its plugged in, did you try your mouse, etc.)

It's ridiculous!
