Online patch without patch?

I previously installed fifa with the patch.

I have since than uninstalled and re-installed the game. The problem is I never installed teh patch again. But everytime I re-install Fifa, it alsos asks me to reset my online squads.

How do I get rid of that? I just want to keep my default squads, but the menu keeps displaying online squads even without installing the update again.

At what point does it ask you to reset squads?? The option to choose between default or updated squads seems to come up even if you have no patched roster installed (which may or may not be something to do with the fact that the game installs a PC_CL.BIN, which is actually nothing to do with the new version, so you could try deleting or renaming it and seeing if that helps).
