I don't buy FIFA games to play single player.. in fact, FIFA 2004 I had it for the whole year and only played SP once.. FIFA 2005 I tried the career mode for a bit, but it's not the same if you're not playing a human (or something closely resembling one)....
so here's my list of must haves for FIFA 2006 (yes I know, what's the point of releasing a list when EA doesn't give a ****...)
1) Return direct ip and lan play b4 it got screwed over in UEFA
2) Not just 1 vs 1, but maybe 2 vs 2, etc...
3) Ability for a spectator to watch
4) Ability to change formation, players, etc IN GAME, it can't be that hard...
5) Ability to chat to opponent (that one doesn't need thinking now does it?)
6) Online leagues like NHL 200x, etc
7) Ability to choose before hand, how many (if at all) replays to show, goal celebrations, etc...
8) **Really important for me** Ability to play online with modified teams / players, as was before in 2002 I think... (WHY DOES EA KEEP TAKING OUT FEATURES??!?)
9) Choose referee strictness (again like before...)
10) Ability to save match results to a text file, or better yet email them
11) Internal stats file for all online games (even if not played on EA Online servers... not all of us only want to be able to play the game for just a year)
This is of course just a prelim thing, add your own ideas or must haves...
