OT PC Help ... BSD

Blue Screen of Death .....

KMixer.sys .. Trying to play Ghost Recon AW .. Mission loading , then bang BSD.

Sound problem I hear ? My sound card an old Creative Sound Blaster.

But here's the rub!

I played the 1st mission , my times before I got used to the game and when I did complete the 1st mission I got in the helo and flew off to the 2nd mission. It is here when the 2nd mission is loading I get the BSD, I can play the 1st mission with no such problem, so I can't seeing it being a problem with my sound card (as in being an old one).

You do realize that this is a forum pertaining to soccer games? In any case, I'll try and point in the right direction here, but any further help you need, I would strongly suggest you post this in a Ghost Recon forum.

- If you happen to be running Windows 2000:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...B5-A2F6-44E4-8B9D-62DA64EC9689&displaylang=en

- If your using 3RD PARTY sound drivers, I suggest installing OFFICIAL sound drivers from Creative's Web Site.

- If you are using official drivers / old drivers, re-install them.

- Use the same sound drivers that came with your Sound Card.

- Reinstall the game?

- COULD be a RAM issue. I don't mean your RAM is bad, but you may need to adjust your timings or your RAM may need to be in certain slots, (some motherboards are picky for whatever reason).

- If you have 2 sticks of RAM, take one out and try again. Do the same with the other RAM.

Good luck.
