Out of Sync Error when playing online

Hi all,

I have a cable modem and it works like a charm. I've played hundreds of games online with little or no trouble at all.

However, for some reason when I play FIFA 2003 online I tend to get an Out of Sync error after a while. This is driving me nuts because I can't finish games.

Does anyone know why? If you have any idea please reply.

My config:

P4 2.6 Ghz
1024 RAM
180 GB HD
Radeon 9700 Pro
Windows XP SP1

Motorola Surfboard 4100 CableModem

Delete any patches u have loaded because the problem is caused by u having edited files and therefore different files to the other person u are playing.

i get exactly the same...

I try to play online DIRECT IP with my friend who lives like 200m away from me. Both on Cable modems with systems of over 2 GHZ and over 256mb ram, both on GF4MX's and either we lag like anything at the team selection screen or we finally get the game going only never to finish due to OUT OF SYNC errors... I realise that having mods can cause this so both of uninstalled and reinstalled and tried to play on a fresh install of fifa and we got exactly the same error

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Also, when you first connect I've found in the past that's is usually best if the host chooses not to use a customised database. On the couple of times I've had out-of-sync errors this has usually been the problem. I could just be fortunate though.
