out of sync

is anyone having the problem with the game going out of sync when playing direct ip..

Just once it happened to me, it seemed to happen after everything was slown down to a halt.

Update ur copy of fifa.. with the auto update icon.. both. users must have the update to play.. it wont work if one has it and the other doesnt..

Hi I have two copies (legal) of fifa 2003, and am trying to play Direct IP & also Network but keep getting out of sync error even before starting the game.

both machines are running xp home

1.2ghz & 1ghz ram

1.6+ ght & 256 ram

10/100 network connection

i am new to forums, so any help would be appreciated

I am also getting the 'out of sync' error messages when playing online matchup. if i OK the message the match crashes and i am sent back to the chat room...its very annoying!!

i have an ADSL connection and play others with fast connections (low pings) and it still happens!?!

will a patch fix this do you think?

the out of sync error normally appears when u r using different ini.big files ... make sure that u r using the original ini.big from fifa 2003 when playing multiplayer (and that ur opponent is using the same file as u)...then u probably won´t have any problems...

or u can just use the same patch / update as ur opponent....

P.S. there's no official update from EA at present
