I thnk that you souldnt sell Owen...
Because on year 2006 my team (Boca Juniors) hast 10 millions dollars and it letme 6 millions dollars to buy players...
Then on 2007 i sold RIquelme on about 50 millions dollars to Inter.. then my club had 60 millions dollars and i have only 10 millions to buy players...
Then, if you sell a player you wont get all the money for buy newones..the club will have all the money and they wont give you a lot more...

Owen for me at Roma is a flop anyway. I paid 35 million pounds after he lead the EPL in scoring. His form for me is always good, but he just doesn't score many goals (the important part). I guess Totti is busy doing that. Totti for me on the 03/04 season has 23 goals in 21 games .

Helow, those aren't anywhere near impressive stats for a striker that is worth 100M. Shevchenko and Cisse both have higher goal tallies for me in Milan than Owen has for you at Liverpool. He is certainly good, but is he really worth 100M?
I look at it like this.........If a team offers me 10M for a player, I ask myself, "What would I pay for him?" If their offer is higher than what I would spend, I'll accept it, because if you decline, it is just like giving up the money for the player, and if it is more than you want to pay, it's stupid.

ShiftyPowers, I agree yr point.......but Milan and Liverpool is diffrent. Milan is a big club and have a lot of superstar, but Liverpool doesn't (at the beginnimg of game) . Non of a superstar will join to Liverpool when you start to play the game, like Shevchenko and Cisse. Owen is the only great striker in Liverpool. If we sold Owen 100M. I don't think Shevchenko or Cisse will join to Liverpool with the same amount of money. Then there is no point to have 100M and you lose the game.

so far, in my milan team (started new season), shevchenko got around 17 goals in 23 games (Serie A only) and Diego Tristan has 12 goals in 15 games
but usually, they stop scoring around now in a season, so i'm gonna vary tactics!! hopefully it works, coz i always start of well with goals/game ratio then the players end up messing up!
any suggestions?

I doubt this is the beginning of the game, because no team would offer 100M for Owen at the beginning of the game, but if it is, then Cisse is at some crappy French club and would love to go to Liverpool.
If it is a few seasons in, hopefully the club reputation would be built up so that players like Ronaldinho or Shevchenko would love to go to Liverpool. That's why I would sell him.

how did u get 64 games in 1 season? 38 league games that leaves 26, he play all champs lge, worthington cup and fa cup games?
2009/0 is a great season for Liverpool. Instead of 38 League games, Liverpool play World Championship, Charity Shiled, Super Cup, Campion Cup, FA Cup, League Cup and Intercontiontal Cup. Liverpool won all the title expect League Cup till quarter final.
Owen almost play ever games since he is in top form at the season.
