Vieri has scored almost nothing in champions league. Crespo, if you take into account his games lost through injury, is far an away the most prolific scorer in the champions league. I think only RVN was ahead of him. Crespo had 9 goals from 7 or 8 games in the group stage.

Recoba also is at his best when he plays as a striker, no on the left wing. I don't think inter really loose anything by having recoba and crespo up front. I still consider crespo to be one of the top 3 finishers in the world, and recoba is better for creating chances than vieri. With vieri and crespo, they are too similar. I think recoba/vieri or recoba/crespo is more potent than crespo/vieri, because of the way they complement each other.

Crespo has been an absolute sensation this year in champions league. Veri has been incredible in serie A, but largley inefective in CL.

LOL ! yeah :D me too ! im pretty sure we are gonna see a few reds being shown over the 2 legs :p...and most probably this leg coz no one would want to miss the final due to suspension in case they get there ;)
