Ronaldo is amazing. Id always thought of him as a fancy show-boat. But he was awesome today. MotM for me. He's gonna be good....

Rooney probably should of been off. Considering Ronaldo was booked for his celebration. rooney's was the same, so surely he'd of been off aswell? consistancy, it's what's lacking from referees.

Silvestre.. any complaints? I think not.

However once we were 3-2 down, we weren't going to get back into it. I felt our soul had gone. First half we were dominant and IMO should of been 3-1 up at least. Second half, Ferguson showed his class. Vieira disappeared, Ronaldo appeared. The game turned on it's head in 7 minutes. Our defence disappeared, Man Utd took advantage. Then i was put to bed near the end.

Henry I felt wasn't that bad. he had some shots and set up both goals. His overhead kick near the end was impressive, but if he sliced it as Andy Grey said, it'd of been in.

On more important news, I now owe my mate £6 ¬_¬

Great goals by United, O'Shea is looking like the 2003 O'Shea again,Keane was my MOTM,that pass for the vital third was unbelieveable.

What a 2nd half performance.


Silvestre was silly but everybody else,especially in midfield and attack was brilliant.

Rooney played well and the way he calmed down shows that the shrek will be a footballing great....

arsenal fans should wake up to the fact that Henry is good but not a big game player.....whats the use if he cant score or influence a game when it matters (champs league, Man Utd)

one of the best refereeing performances since the days of Collina....controlled the game very well although the linesmen were s**t

Tactically it was a very well fought game.... Sir Alex may have his critics but he is a master no question about it..... he also has faith in youngsters like o'shea, fletcher,rooney and ronaldo even when they didn't perform.....

as for Arsene all what i can say is that its time to get rid of the dead wood..... Vieira,Lauren and Pires should be sold and replaced by a world class striker and a couple of good players...otherwise Ashley will leave and the team will dismantle very badly...... also when Arsenal move to their new stadium it'll be a large pitch so their pacy african style (all the team are lightning fast but the brains are in Brgkamp and Reyes hehe) will need to be changed otherwise they'll end up like Nigeria in the 98 world cup!!!

also jens Lehmann was treated like s**t and also Barthez was too..... it was obvious that a goalie will lose the game for his team and this time it was Almunia....

congrats Man Utd and I think Chlski will slip up once Robben or Duff gets injured... look at your history and remember Newcastle and even Arsenal in the 90's how they fell at the last hurdles.....

Absolutely delighted, i can't even discribe that! I was like jumping up and down after Ronaldo's second goal, my cat got scared and ran off somewhere, still can't find it.


About the game, first half was poor and Arsenal it seemed were really up for it. Their defending sucked a lot as usual, but what was driving them is Bergkamp. He was the top player for Arsenal. Second half was just magical, good defending, great counter-attacks and keeping the ball well. Arsenal fans in the stands were as usual very quite and all i could hear is "United, United move move move" up here in Canada . Heinze did a nice elbow on Lauren, no more than what Lauren deserved. Silvestre's red was very stupid, but to think of it, now that we won, i am glad he did that, Freddie needed one for the team.
now don't take it that seriously, just trying to relief myself after such a depressing half-time break.

Ronaldo, even though his second goal was all Giggs magic and stupid Almunia, who i don't know what he was doing there, but the first goal was sheer quality. Absolutely amazing, took it over the keeper's leg with a little touch and right into that corner, no chance. 19 and get a brace at Highbury in such a famous win is amazing, happy birthday to him on weekend and 5 more goals to come! Now O'Shea's goal was super class too, great chip, but you can't blame Arsenal, they had to really have a go at United, because it was either all or nothing and unfortunately for them Bergkamp is 35, not 25 and Henry is not a big game player, he sucks in big games, it's the little games that he impresses in and that happened many many times, while people still call him the best forward in the world .

Anyways great game, i am very stunned by Ferguson and his decisions, because me and almost everybody else questioned some of his decisions during that game and i admit that, but he proved us all, why he is the best man in the job, no one can match him. Ahead of Arsenal, 8 behind Chelsea for 24 hours and a great day! Bring on Chelsea, because O'Shea said:
"IT'S ON YA COCKNEYS!"

Henry did influnce the game. He setup both goals and and possibly a third if the linesman wasn't blind.

Im not an Almunia or Lehmann fan, but the problem with arsenal is that they have deserted their keeper leaving them with the task to make saves or attempts that they shouldnt have to make. If you have a backline that routinely lapses with support, then you're gonna get goals scored - no matter the keeper.
