He has the right to be cocky. I didn't complain even if Cantona was mighty cocky because he was good enough to be.

If you've got it, flaunt it. And imo, nobody flaunts it better than Thierry.

Sure he CAN do it, but why should he? You dont see Ronaldinho or Zidane acting like they're tough bitches when they score, they just celebrate mad, like every player should.
I just dislike cocky players, i dont care if they have the right to be or not.

Is it Thierry's fault Zizou or Ronaldinho choose not to be cocky? Nope. If Thierry thinks he can handle the criticism, let him be. He has his own personality.

Yesterday's celebration was the gayest I've seen from him, but whatever. Imagine if he had beaten the entire field and scored. We would've probably seen a striptease, so thank God.

id prefer him standing around acting as if its nothing special (which scoring from a penalty isnt) while when u score a tap-in from 2 yards (a la rvn) in a stupid game (e.g. blackburn etc...) going and thinking uve won the championship

maybe if u read it properly ud understand dumas.s

when ruud scored against us it was a VERY special goal, nothing wrong with celebrating that - however, when he scores a tap-in from 2 yards out from a team like (and no disrespect to) blackburn, and he goes crazy, thats what i dislike

eng4worldcup, maybe he enjoys scoring goals, no matter against who, or what they're like. if you think theres something wrong with that, then you dont understand football.

A goal's a goal, no matter how it is scored, they all go down in the book as a goal. You don't get extra points for scoring great goals.

He has a right to celebrate any way he wants, so does Henry, but I don't like Henry's celebration and you don't like Ruud's. I don't have to like how Henry celebrates and you don't have to like how Ruud celebrates. I'm just expressing my opinion.;)

in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with celebrating every goal with passion, but celebrating every goal like everyone should bow down to you disturbs me. its just my opinion tho, its true that he can celebrate however he wants.
