[P/R] Man City vs Man United

YELLOW CARD - Sarcasm

Then apply the same principal to this play btw Ronaldo and Cole. Btw i would like to hear about your perspective in that Kewell and Stalteri tackle and if you apply the same kind of moral judgement towards him in the same way you condem Ronaldo for play acting.

I've not seen it yet :$

I realise that playacting is rife in the game but its the fact that Ronaldo is persistantly doing it. Then when he doesn't get his way hes tries going for the man who showed him up.

good enough (H)

and about the first 2 City goals, the first one was offside when Sun initially played the ball in, no doubt, but Vassell's goal was legit, he was on. as for you guys bitching about Ronaldo's tackle not making contact and shouldn't have been a red... if he were to pull out a gun and shoot Cole, would you defend him if he were to miss? :boohoo: quit yer bitchin, City were the better team today, your team has no heart whatsoever, punch of young primadonnas who think they're the ****. **** off Ronaldo, Rooney, Fletcher, and all you dirty ****ers.

It´s alright. I´m not looking for any verbal dispute and that Kewel mention was uncalled for and has no relevance. I don´t even know why i´m defending Ronaldo, his recent conduct has been poor. Although i don´t agree with the red card, i do think he should be on the bench for a while until he changes his conduct. After all you are right, he earns bags of money and he should get used to this kind of treatment and adopt a more professional conduct.
To the plastic, you completely missed my point and i´m not going to waste my time with you.

Ronaldo should have had a yellow at most. Anybody that says, it was similar to Keane's tackle is an idiot. Keane went on Haaland with his body straight that way putting more force and strength into the tackle and he went for the leg as well. Ronaldo jumped with his body leaned back and not down like Keane, but forward. Plus he never even looked at the player, his eyes were on the ball all the way and he almost got it. Bennet just wants to screw united over in anyway possible. If Ronaldo was going for the leg, he would have gotten the leg. Just because he showed a little bit of aggression in trying to get the ball that was too far to get to with a sliding tackle, doesn't mean that it is a red. Very stupid decision. Onuba's header on Saha was more dangerous, than that. The guy went in head down, eyes closed right into Saha and you people talk about Ronaldo's challenge lol.

Anyways, it was a good game, except Tweety. ****ed up on all 3 goals. Evra had a shaky debut, but he will be fine i think. All 3 goals were scored on counterattacks. It wasn't that bad of a performance, Ruud and Rooney were all over the place. Credit to Distin though, he played crazily today. Did his job perfectly. I like how everybody is talking about Ronaldo, but no one mentioned Jordan's intentional handball which wasn't booked, but prevented a very good break away and a few other moments were he went straight with studs into the players legs. Especially that moment when Rooney got a yellow, referee is ******* blind, the ball was like 5 yards away and Jordan totally pulled down Rooney's sock to the very bottom with his studs, but got nothing from it. :kader:

We were **** , Evra was terrible , he was out of position on the first to goals ,looks like another flop, even Cygan is better than him. Ronaldo fully deserved to be sent off , you can't make wild lunges like that whether he made contact is irrelevant , if he had it was a potential leg breaker.

If he was going for the leg, he could break it. But he never even looked at the leg, and i don't know how many people can look at the ball and at the same time break someone's legs.

what are you, retarded?

his eyes are closed, his foot is a good meter above the ball and it looks like the veins in his neck are about to pop. yes, look at that intent to win the ball.

i was trying to avoid saying that, but its only his debut so give him a chance. about ronaldo he was always going to get sent off as it was a derby and let's be honest his frustration got the better off him. steve bennet was aweful but credit goes to city they took they chances. what the hell is saf doing playing a blunder-prone silvestre instead of brown? he is the next roy carroll of our defence! his time is up and he should be sold as bait for diarra! giggs you son of a bitch, what is wrong with you? instead of crossing, you start taking on players with your crappy pace, and thanks to saf ruud has lost some match fitness due to his resting of "big players" he hardly could control the ball and couldn't outrun the city defence! g.neville did **** all , oh wait no body did **** all, except rooney, hes like carry our team! every1 from the goalkeeper to the strikers are losing touch and quickly. sorry to say saf and queerarse need to go! we are making a habit losing a derby to city once every 2 seasons and losing badly!

First of all his foot is a meter above the ball, because he is trying to trap it. How the hell else do you trap a ball, when jumping? He is trying to get that ball, not kick it away somewhere. Second, how do you know that his eyes are entirely closed, from the picture his eyes COULD be closed, but they also could be looking down, ever considered that? Do you go into a tackle, looking down with eyes wide open? Doubt it. Third, by the time Ronaldo's foot got to Andy Cole, it was already fully lower than Cole's front foot. If he tried to get Cole, then that must have been the worst ever attempt to get the player. The angle in this picture is bad, find me a picture where you can see Ronaldo's full front or full back, then we can measure the distances. But nice try though.

Oh and prior to that ronaldo "horror" tackle. Young prick steven jordan took him out from the back it was a definite free kick and f***kin ref didnt give it.

What a really fcuked up game :kader:....evra was ok at best, silvest was gangraped by city and well credit to city that they took their chances. I hope diarra comes and if houlier wants tweety then it would be perfect...btw if houlier saw this match he would rather buy titus bramble !!

And that ref.... benchod bennet....what can i say. The title is now gone for sure imo.

Silvestre doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Titus Bramble , in fact I would go as far as saying Roque Junior is a much better CB than Silvestre , any deal which involves us getting money for him would be great.

why try to trap the ball when it's in your own half and players are all around you? isn't it better to just kick it away and clear the danger? there's no point in defending him. he got frustrated by the Jordan tackle and non-call, so obviously when he went in he was a bit crazy. maybe halfway through the tackle he came to his senses and tried to bring his foot down and make it look like his original intent was to win the ball, but you cant let a player get away with those studs-up challenges, even if they miss their targer
