zidane threw the ball in...that was a misthrow, it should have been called back and been romas throw....the goal came from that throw-in

the penalty, questionable call, but figo stutter-stepped, your not allowed to stutter-step but the ref didn't seem to care

Zidane was giving it to Carlos. Zizou could barely throw it with the brace for his dislocated shoulder. (It was kind of depressing:$)

It was a penalty. On penalties, you can't come to a stop. Figo just stuttered, didn't stop.

zidane wasnt giving it to carlos.. you give it underhanded.. he actually did the movement for a real throw.. he just couldnt do it with a crapped shoulder..

the pk.. is a push.. and you can stutter step as long as you don't come to a complete stop.

sine when do u over-head throw the ball to your teammate on the field?

his right shoulder was injured, so he should either leave the ball, or pick it up with his left hand and hold it or put it down and carlos comes to the ball, you don't throw the ball onto the field

and a penalty is one fluent motion...figo's wasn't

Well.. since they have been taking pk's this way for a long long time.. Panenka was the first one to do it.. and they have never been called back.. and Fifa has never spoken against it, and neither has UEFA.. it makes them legal.. as long as the player keeps moving.. he never comes to a full stop.

Starting XI
people usually complain about figo's pk's but after watching this one, i thought it was ok

maybe i'll have to watch it again though

he doesnt go the same speed throughout, but it didnt look like he stopped completely

anyway, good to see the offense is back!:rockman:

"halt" means stop

Who the hell cares what the definition is.

The fact of the matter is that he doesn't stop.

u agreed that figo stuttered...stutter's deifnition contains the word halt, which is also stop...meaning he stopped, but i don't care anymore, we lost, tough luck...we'll get u back a the olimpico

with all our fans cheering us from the outside:crazyboy:

Some of you need to get over it. Figo has never had a penalty called back because of his "stutter" step.

i wonder why would that be? cuz its against the rules
