Yeah lol. Having waited two years to score, he finally does and he retires. I think everyone would understand if he had retired because he failed to break the drought, but having done so, I thought he'd have been eager to keep playing.

Back to the topic, I'm amazed. His performances for England were getting much better so it seems strange that he decided to call it a day. I wonder who will fill the gap.
