Any one notice or know of any differences between 2 versions.

I have ps3 this year so unsure which one to get but

PC

+ves=£20+ cheaper (huge positive), always new patches etc.

-ves=no pc online friends, 22" screen at desk (but can connect to 28" monitor tv at my bed but annoying switching cables)

PS3

+ves=28" hd 1080p tv and can play in my bed, 2-3 good ps3 friends for 'occasional' online games (i'm a popular guy I know)

-ves=£20+ for same game as PC? gfx better on PC? patches, kits etc downloadable for ps3?

Will the gameplay be identical on both systems from the demo I cant really tell but only played few games so far.

I don't have a PS3 or XBOX so I'll say PC because I have a good graphics card. It is much more easier to apply patches onto a PC game.

I think you have to modify your PS3 first before you can apply patches to the game.

I believe the games for PC and for PS3 are more or less the same gameplaywise and featurewise...

I would personally get it for PS3 because I dont really think patchmaking is a big issue for this game. Everything looks great and it really doesn't need patching. Plus for me the edit mode is good enough to meet all my "modding" needs

Hope that helps :)

Anyone know if super patches will be made/compatible with ps3 and if online gaming ps3 vs pc will be possible?

And are graphics better on a quality PC vs a PS3 if both on same HD tv (1080p)?

Really depends what GFX card you have.

For the PS3 version, you can download option files only (with edited kits and player transfers updated). You can't get those patches that is created by the community.

If you don't have a good GFX card to play PES 2009 PC on the highest settings, then I'd suggest you get the PS3 version.

Have fun on PES 2009! :)

My comps a beast running at 1900*1200 the gfx are superb but ps3 aint bad either. I wonder what resolution the ps3 runs at on 1080p tv. For P CI chose 1900*1200 which was highest option. Seems a bit darker/deeper gfx on CP but maybe just settings and gameplay seems same so as 25 cheaper mwy as well get for pc but then again I wont be able to play my friends online so???? I dunoo
