Here are some interesting lines:

The current fix list for this patch is as follows :
- resolves an issue with online play whereby the game can be made to crash both users out immediately. (Not giving full details on what causes this right now, as it would be exploited by those wishing to cheat).
- resolves an issue whereby changing your club logo to a custom logo causes the game to crash - although this only happens the first time.
- resolves an issue with line-up changes made using the mouse causing graphical corruption.

Update from EAUK_Protagonist. The Patch appears to be very close to release:

"Here's where we're at :

The patch has completed testing, and has been given the all clear. We're now working on the logistics of putting it live.

This does not guarantee that it will be today, as there are 14 countries in total to set up to host, however the patch is now due imminently.

I'll update again when I know definitely whether it'll be today, or not."

This is amazing, all the users from Fifa 07 have reported a lot more bugs that this ones, specially the lags and the animation issues (like the referee runing stupidly when there is a foul). And this is the best they come up with? Give me a break!

I just got the patch. IT IS A FREAKING JOKE ! now you have issues in the game and now you have them with the patch! What is wrong with this people ?!
