Has someone been able to make a mini_image to bypass the securom room thing? Cause I hate to load a 700MB image on my hardrive then load it with alcohol and CureRom.

Or is it just me doing that?

I tried by deleting the cab file and leave the rest but doesn't work. Tried making a image of the CD then cancel at 2% with alcohol, so that the security thing thinks that all the files are there with their appropiate sizes but still. Loading an image of 700 MB is kinda lame.

Any other ways of doing that? I have the 3 cd version.

I think it's the same for eachone...Personally i prefere load games directly from Hard disk and image disk...

However the game is loaded not from the 700mb image disk but from the installation folder...The image disk is used to check that you have the "original" disk...
with CureRom you could create a profile that chek your image disk saved as image directly a CD/DVD made by yourself with copy/past from your hard disk...

Oh well...
I wonder if by burning the mdf file you can virtually load it from the CD Drive and trick the securerom still.

The game is only for Korea, so it's normal (Korean commentary), it's impossible to use european commentary from PES5 version...

The strangest thing happened a couple of days ago, the game just stopped working. The game ran perfectly with the original .mds file, Daemon and SecuRom Loader for several weeks.

Now I just get:
A required security module can not be activated.
This program can not be executed (6000).

I tried other things like Alcohol and uninstalling Daemon, but I have a hunch this could be some registry thing, I did a virus scan and something probably changed in the process. Any help appreciated.

No luck there either. I've re-installed the game and Daemon, tried CureRom and enabled and disabled administrator rights for Mounted Devices.

Meh, check out the thread that says k-patch.

Can anyone tell me why can't I start this game any more. I have installed it months ago and it worked fine with the patch but last time I can't start it. When I click start .exe after it nothing happens. I have renstalled game 10 times and always is the same problem. Also I have changed my graphic card drivers but still nothing (GF 6800 GT).

I have tried to make new .exe with CureRom 2.0.3.3 but still nothing.

Any ideas how can I fix this problem?


ps. Last time when it worked fine I didn't even change any setting or installed something in my PC but still game won't run :(

try to desintall this patch kb917422 (windows update)
i told few people to do that on evo-web and it works for them
