PC - Xbox Controller button problems (LB/start/pause)

Hey guys

So i just got Fifa 12 and bought a Windows Xbox controller especially.

The problem is quite simple, my "LB" button (the left shoulder button) acts as a secondary "start" button. For example, if i push it during a game, it will pause.

It has nothing to do with in game calibration as that is displayed correctly.

A quick search of the internet only reveals 2 results... surely its more common then that, and is there a fix or workaround?

Its surprising how much i use the LB button :-P

Installed the latest drivers yes

Its a wired controller


Before i get asked, im running windows 7 32bit

i wasnt going to ask thta, i use wireless 360 controllers w/ a wireless reciever & it has zero issues.

Now that is interesting... it works for you but not me.

I read somewhere about somebody disabling Anti virus and it resolved. I have done this, but still no joy.

Side note: every other game is fine.
