People Who Score From The Half Way Line....

I have done this one or twice myself , but I was playing a guy online last night who could score at will from the half way line - it was like we were playing Fifa ! Anyone else got experiences of this and should Konami iron out this bug for PES5 , or is it actually skill ?....

It`s not a skill..well it is kind of that you have to master..that guy obviously knows what he`s doing..

I remember back in the days when I played ISS 98 on my N64 I could score goals like that in any given time..

Konami should fix it, it aint exactly hard because all it is, is the keeper. If he didnt come forward nobody would even attempt to score from the hal-way line let alone score from it.

It is a chepa way to score, because its rather easy to do so.

i scored like that
with bojinov.
the against team scored and i kicked off then passed to bojinov
he shot from 39 meters and then the ball come to post over pelizzoli and
GOALLLLL..... BEFORE THAT GOAL İT WAS 2-2 AND THE TİME WAS 89'
And finished 3-2 ....

ive mastered this, if i need a quick goal, i know where to take my chances from, although it doesnt always work

The Long range chip is exploited. Overused. Some people just use it as their main source of goals. I personally decided not to use it too often.

How do you master it??

Usually i just take a shot and hope fot it to go in sometimes it does and other times it dosnt. Although i have to say Adriano is the best at this i scored 3 in a row like this with him in one match.

lets just say 3 days straight playing PES4 training mode might just help a bit.....

first of all. gk do moves forward during a match. they dont stay on the spot at the goal all the time. so if its a half mid shot i dont tink its dat fake cos players do score from that way. its just the gk not responding sometimes to the shot. he moves back and do nothing. so its half true half bug.

Its a half way line thread not a chip. and isit U dun know how to use it or u dont want to use it? in the first place u gave him space for it. u deserved to be chip. just sums up u cant def?

Its true you have to defend against the long range chip. But its also true that it is too easy to use. When i use it I have a 90% succes rate with the long rang chip, while in real life its hard to pull of such an accurate lob.
Thats why its almost an exploit for me, so i try not to be tempted to use it when im 1on 1 with the keeper, because i dont feel like i achieved someting when scoring with the long range chip.

Lol. I read this thread a couple of days ago and I played a friendly online yesterday and he scored like that. I imidiatly paused the game and asked about it cause every kick off he went for that shoot.
He sayd it works 1 of 4 times for him but I know how to prevent it. Set your cursor settings to "gk cursor" press L1 and triangle and you can control your goalkeeper like a player. Do like that when he is taking a shoot to prevent the keeper going out :hump:

tis trick has existed since ISS Pro 2 or 3.
but i cant master it. the closest shots i made always seems to hit either the vertical or the side net.
can someone please describe the motion?
the player have to be dashing before making that shot right? and shoot from where? i shoot immediately when i ran pass the halfway line. how abt the strength? it never work in 100% strength for me. :ewan:
