i love you mogolos but i'll keep my excitement until i apply it tonight.
one thing i could tell to this forum that even for those who got the pirate's copy of this game (iso version) is waste you download it (my fifa is original dvd). i applied the EA fix, played 2 hours in exhibition randomly and the screen freeze and the game crashed. the crashed it marked by unusual sound on my speaker and the system goes to fifasetup.
i hope the mogolos's could cheer me up.

This patch worked for me. Even Erevos' Matrix db also worked for me. The original version db also worked for me. In all the cases, no duplicacy in BPL. If we apply the original patch only and continue with an existing Manager career, we would get a crash sooner or later because the old Manager career did not have two Birminghams !!
During initial screen loadup (Kaka's face - EA Sports logo), I sometimes get a crash which may be attributed to the sound drivers being loaded in an improper way by FIFA. I do get that "sometimes" crash when the first sound comes out of the game. Weird.
Regarding screen freeze, I also had similar experience. Later found out that the CPU temperature went upto 107 degree celcius. I cleaned the internals of the PC using a vacuum cleaner. Now no more freezing of screens or temperature rise.

Just a heads up, we released a new version of the patch (v3.1). In this version we corrected the following duplications:
npower League1:
Rochdale appears twice when playing Manager Mode (by selecting any team in this league). Note that Notts County is not visible in the league table.
npower League2:
Here Gillinham appears twice when playing Manager Mode (by selecting any team in this league). Note that Southed United is not visible in the league table due to this duplication.
