I never said I want all of my players to press the guy with the ball no matter where he is.
But when a guy has the ball on the wing, isolated, trying to find the available pass, players who stand a few feet away from him should try and press him. They shouldn't stare at him like he fell from the moon.
Also, when a certain player is running with the ball towards you and has no immediate passing option, he should be double teamed. Again - my players, as close to him as they may be, stare at him.
It's the same crap when there's a loose ball...
For god's sake.. They're standing right next to it, but if they're not under your control at that moment, they just don't care. They don't go for the ball.
It should be in a such a way that they pounce on it when they're near it, and upon catching it, the guy with ball is the guy you control from that moment.
And I don't care which kind of cross I'm using. High, medium, low.. Wheh I've been using the same cross for over 50 games, trying about 7-8 crosses per game, and still haven't managed to score from one, then something is wrong here.
