There are a few lags online but it's nevertheless a good connection.
You cannot connect IP to IP, you have to play online via Lobby.

Hello Everyone.

I heard about that in the PES 5. The IP to IP (direct ip) will not apperance. And have to play with an another connection method. And I have to own the original game if I want to play online. Is it true?

I wouldn't be worried about the lack of IP-to-IP connection inside the lobby.

Someone is going to release a utility soon to solve this problem. Remember we didn't have a lobby in PES4, and I think that was far more challenging than this one...

So... relax...
