Guys, don't cause a stir, but for those of you who live in the London, there will be 10,000 copies sold at All HMV's on the 9th of September!

Now, there is no official word, but this is partly because it is a marketing technique we call in the business world "Surprise Promotionary Branding" Which basically means, so many people will get the game, word of mouth will spread, and should theoretically cause massive demand for the game when it comes out.

here is a picture from an employee at an HMV store who took a picture of the game with his phone..



Now, this has been the topic of discussion at the PESinsight forums.

here is the link, for those of you who want to see some talk about it, because this is where I learned it from. Some say its BS that it's going to come out in a week, some believe it, some are ready to camp outside of HMV's. I say, "Who Knows". But because i dont live there, i can't really do anything about it but wait. If your in London, and get nothing to do on the 9th, why the hell not and check it out! :)

Didn't something like this happen a year or 2 ago. I can't remember the game involved, but a Swedish and a Danish company started shipping the game about a month before its due release date. They also did this without the publishers permission, but because people had got there hands on the game, it forced the publisher of this game to release the game earlier than it had wanted to.

If this applies to HMV this time around, could be great and if demands so high and people around Europe are annoyed that only Londoners got copies, it could force Konami into releasing it early too.

Assuming that what is being discussed is anyway remotely true, I also thought the photo was fake, but camera phones can be that crap its sometimes hard to tell.

No need to photoshp, the guy printed it and put it in a Playstation box and took a pic.

Use your imagination, not eveything has to be photoshopped

The official date is 28th october on Amazon or 4th November in HMV and other popular outlets. I called HMV and they said 4th of November!!!

The 9th of September thing smells like bull****.

However, PES5 looks more than likely to be released on the 1st of October in order to combat the release of FIFA 06 on the 30th.

If there were already copies of it in stores, somebody would have already ripped it and had it for download on sites. and as they dont. then it's false. :o)
