To avoid any confusion about Konami releasing a Football\Soccer game for the Pc, Here are a few lines that i picked up from, i think a Gamespot post, That went something like this,

We at Konami realise the huge demand for a good and realistic Pc Football game -- I forgot the rest of what was posted, but i do think that they mentioned WE6 or PES as the ones that they were considering as in a Pc version of either of these two games. -- Oh yeah, Bring it on. -- :)

can we have the link to your 'information' please?

unless i see it for myself i believe it's a scam.

oh and btw anyone who bought MGS when it was released for the pc in 2001 would know how crappy the pc port was. the controls were strange, it would still say 'press X' instead of 'press *keyboardkeygoeshere*' and the graphics were terrible. it seemed like a 1 hour job.

Yeah but I don't think Konami would realase a game until it has an acceptable quality, or even until it's equal to the console quality.....

See ya!

Great news that would be awsome if the PES series got to the PC! I'm sick of the FIFA series, althought 2003 isn't that bad, PES is a step above the rest

What I meant is.... this game is nothing less than FIFA in graphics but a lot more in gameplay, so, if it's as editable as FIFA I prefer PES.....
But... it'd be very very cool to have both for PC and edit both, and play both hehe.. :lui:

See ya!

that's PES not PES 2

On what platform? PS2?

Wow the graphics are really good, and different players have different boots.

I am seriously thinking of getting a PS2 now, especially after I saw a great offer @ Yahoo(pic below).

PES is not as good as fifa because it does not have the license - and the faces are absoulutly s***. i agree the gameplay isnt bad, but both fifa and PES gameplays are good in their own ways. If only these 2 gameplays could be put together somehow...

Who cares about the license? If they give us an easy to use editor, with no bugs (hear that EA, it is possible!), I don't really care, since I can always do the rosters myself.

And as for graphics, I have to say FIFA are better, but PES arent too bad, and with probably some help from ppl like Ariel, we can improve it even more.

PES, with complete editability, add leagues, teams, players, edit graphics.......bye bye FIFA.

Although this news is very exciting, I think we are getting a litttle bit carried away and it could lead to bitter diappointment if KCET decide not to release PES multi-platform.

Lets just hope and pray though for now!
