here you can post most of the new things you have discovered during your gaming time on pes5:

a little discovery:
i was playing against one of my friends and also one of my long time rivals on the iss/pes series.me chelsea and him madrid....he had possesion of the ball and all of a sudden there comes an explanation mark to the top left corner and i see briefly one of my players falling to the floor.we both look to each other and think:"did you see what i saw?"
anyway we went in the replay menu and searched via the replay mode if one of my players actually felll to the ground or it was a piece of are imagination....well it was not, as during the replay you could see crespo falling to his knees,then on his stomach and then grabbing his INJURED knee...all this even though he was not tackled(probaly early on,but we couldnt remember)a really shocking,cool and funny feature that has been added.has this occured to anyone else? :)

If that happens against the computer to a cpu player, and you kick the ball out while the exclamation mark is there, they will then pass it back to you from the resulting throw in for example, its the fair play thing konami have added.

excellent,they just think about everything :) ...
ii have also discovered another thing:
if you for example do a very nasty tackle (that really diserved a card)but play is let go on seems you didnt lose the ball even though their was a nasty tackle against you,the ref will give the yellow card as soon as you lose the ball :rockman:

Something similar happended to me, not that awesome though.

I was playing against Arsenal and i fouled Pires. Nothing particular happened. He continued playing and no medical assistance was used. But then, ten minutes after that foul, the computer made a replacement of Pires and and the red cross appeared at the side of the name. In that moment the replay of the foul I gave him minutes before was played.

It was great... :rockman:

yes that happened to me. But actually if he does fair play do i have to stick with it :D

The game has many great details like this which just make it lovely. Man i am so loving this! It feels so real! Nothing to do with PES4. And the keepers at last they own :P

Only 1 thing that i dun like is that sometimes the shoots are way too strong.

I saw the exclamation mark too. I think it means you should kick the ball out so they treat the injured player. I just kept playing until the ref stopped play to remove him from the pitch. I wonder if they would give the ball back if you kicked it out???

simple thing but the untucked shirts etc have really impressed me; other games have been doing it for years but to see PES follow suite is still good.

I noticed that defenders don't come up for corners anymore. That really sucks. Maybe this is just in the demo. Does anyone with WE9 know if the defenders come up for corners???

Too things I noticed (in the PC demo)

I fouled Robben but the referee played the advantage. A few seconds later when the ball went out of play, the player that tackled Robben was given a yellow card and the replay of the foul played.

When you go after a loose ball that is directed towards the side or the finish/back line and you use O to tackle the ball just as it's about to go out of bounds, unlike previous versions, in PES5 the player gently touches the ball to hold it in bounds and then quickly stands up and continues possesion.
I did it a couple of times, and it looks great.

I scored a goal , and the animation cut to the cpu keeper, he just shook his head and slumped back to lean against the post as if totally fed-up..

Nice touch!

I haven't had this myself but...

Apparently if you do a really bad tackle (eg Zidane flattens Pires) and the ref doesn't blow for the whistle, you see Zidane leaning over Pires shouting at him to get up!

...brilliant
