Pes is better

Okay so I let my mate borrow my PES disc for awhile so he could patch, etc. (I play on PS2, or at least for PES) so I dig up my FIFA World Cup for the X360.

I played in training awhile to get used to the controls. It was okay. Then I played a real game. OMG it was horrible! None, I mean none, of my pass when to anyone I wanted it to go to. Logical thinking did not apply, instend of passing to the guy 5 feet away, let's pass it to the guy who is 60 miles away and bloody offside! Every pass took forever, the ball moved so very slow. And the computer, of course would have a 98 success rate in pass and plus their passing had pace and a "bite". The ball is glued to the player. Plus my {sarcasm}GK is a freaking genius{/sarcasm}, the opposing guy heads the ball and my GK decides to dive for it after it (the ball) hit the back of the net. Plus the goal came from a cross from behide the halfway line and yet the guy could easily head it. So unrealistic. Plus, none of the skill moves work.

However, it isn't all bad, I went picking through my pile again to find UEFA CL 06-07 for ze 360. Class game. Other than for the passing still could be better and the AI can make crazy runs without being tackle, even though my players are perfectly placed for a tackle or I'll tackle him the ball will bounce between his legs or something and he'll keep possession. Very annoying

I'm not a EA hater, I'm buying FIFA 08 for the X360. I'm just saying PES still is better and FIFA World Cup 2006 makes me throw up because the gameplay is that horrible.

Bottom Line: ALL GAMES HAVE FLAWS, deal with it. You'll probably see what EA and KONAMI promised later in oh, umm, 2020? Maybe?

To me, FIFA is fun to play, not necessarily looking for realism, but for the licenses =]

PES is great eye candy. It just looks so good. But it's missing out on stuff that FIFA has, but failed to perfect.


And that is why I HAVE BOTH GAMES.

As we all know EAs FFA sucks but why do people buy it then. I guess the world still houses many dumbasses. Konami forever. If EA hasnt caught up yet they probably wont...:boohoo::chick:

It's kinda hard to see that EA, a company with tons of money, can't produce a good soccer simulation.
