Until a couple months ago I didn't know there was a game called Winning Eleven/PES. All I knew was fifa, I have been playing fifa since 97. Well the way you WE/PES fans talk about the game it makes it seem really good. I still love my fifa though. A couple weeks ago I tried to buy WE7 but they didn't have it here where I live. So I will have to wait until WE8 comes out here to see what all the buzz is about. I have been looking at screenshots and movies of the game but from that it doesn't seem that much better than fifa. It seems like you can score great goals in WE though from what I have seen in the WE game footage forum.

You sound just like me one year ago ;) All I knew was Fifa so for me Fifa was the best. When the bugs in fifa 2004 drove me nuts and I saw the positive reviews for PEs 3 I just tried it out. And it was great! You should definetly try it out (not PES 3 but Pes 4 ofcourse). The WE/PES series have so much more depth than Fifa.

I'll tell you what I respect; how you came here and initally backed what you knew - FIFA - sometimes with a vengeance :) , but remained open-minded enough to bother to try and actually know more.

I think that if you give WE8/PES4 a chance, you will find that the gameplay and overall experience is deep and satisfying.

Good luck in getting a hold of the game.

watching and playing the game are to different things, 2 years ago i didn't understand why people where so mad about pes2 i watched the game in the shop and i didn't like it (coz of the feak players names and the graphic), but thanx to my friend, he bought the game and he was so mutch in love with the game then he give it to me for a week, i played the game every day than i understood why pes was so good (ITS ALL ABOUT GAMEPLAY) sins then i wake up to reality, i bought the game every year, every year the game is geting better and better so pes3 or pes4-we8/we9 its a must buying football game sins then i never bought fifa agen

Hey when you first play the game you are gonna feel lost, annoyed, and mad........

Well I suggest you play about a week and you will see how great the game really is..........(H)
