I lived with pes whole last 10 years
I know every trick, im best in my neighborhoood, and Im in top 15 players in Balkans online league
Im also in first class in pes6, and NEVER play with Brasil/Inter
I never said it is impossible to beat Barca or Brasil with weaker teams, I have done it numerous times
Im just saying that PES5 was much more balanced and real game than PEs6 and 2008.

I totally agree with borjan, I love PES 5...Best in the series...
I understand why the rest are unlike us...
Basically it boils own to the type of player the person is in "real life", meaning how he actually plays football in person...
PES 5 is design based on Thierry Henry's perception for the dribbling and finishing part...you do not run straight and push off defenders like a rugby match...you have to wrong foot the defender and go the direction he did not predict...very often using the defender's momentum when pressing against himself...by "sliding sideways"....I can relate to that...cos I play as a winger and I subscribe to the "Henry" way of play rather than the HardBall England run straight Gerald or Lampard style....I have many friends who plays differently from me in real football ad they have the same problem relating to PES 5....
Likewise the pressing style of PES 5 is realistic in my opinion, you have to cut off the ball by running and catching up with the oppenent and cut in his path (automatic)...cannot totally rely oon pressing button as you will end up with the opponent caving at his knees to the ground in response to draw a free kick...isn't this always the case in the EPL?? I think John Terry got it right....
Basically I hate PES 6 for making PES like virtual striker the arcade game...run straight brainless rugby style football....
KONAMI should make a PES followup with PES 2008's graphics but PES 5 gameplay style...

But this is the best piece of advice I can give, if you want to enjoy playing football, stick with PES 6, it's still the best football game around.

Well your post is very childish and imature from someone that seems to be grown up. Well anyone who goes around indicating their opinion is all that counts and anyone who doesnt agree isnt sensible like thenselves shouldnt be listened to on any matter.

"...you'll be impressed at how well Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 plays on the PlayStation 2. It captures the realism of the sport almost perfectly, but most importantly, it remains eminently playable".
That is said about the PS2 version of the game.Hardly Fifa-fanboy coverage.
That beyond that the game has numerous flaws that outdo the good is obvious.Fifa 08 is the winner for me too this year.
