There are 2 different versions of this card available - the cheaper ones have a 128-bit memory bus and are no better than a 9600 Pro/XT. The more expensive ones have a 256-bit memory bus, but for about the same price you could get a full 9800 non-pro which will work much better in the latest games.
Both versions have only 4 pixel pipelines like the 9600 series, instead of 8 like the other 9800's.

I'd get either a 9600XT or a 9800 non-pro depending on how much you want to spend. Either of these would run PES3 and all the latest games great (I have a 9800 Pro btw).
ATI are really starting to me off with all these stupid crippled versions of their cards. It's like they're trying to confuse the customer on purpose.
I owned a Ti4600 before this 9800 Pro (still got it actually, in my second system), and while it's a nice card I wouldn't recommend buying one now.Originally posted by wheed007
