PES4 is lots of fun. I enjoy it immensly. Glad to see that reflected in the critics' scores as well; but whether or not they liked it, I still think it's great.

So let me get this straight. According to your post the 2 big dogs of game review sites. IGN and Gamespot. Only have user review high scores. oh wait, thats right i forgot that PES fans will do anything to prove their game is better. hell if i was immature like that i would get a bunch of people that liked fifa to submit reviews there and make it higher than PES, then again that would prove nothing except that im a dork, FIFA fans do not stoop as low as PES fans and it shows all over this website example... the name calling :rolleyes:

LOL, all I wanna let you know deft is that the number of Fifa players who have converted over to PES is astonishing.

Where as the numbers of PES players that have switched from PES to Fifa is very VERY low........:confused: :confused:


Even some of the most hardcore fifa footballers on this site have made the switch (H)

It is still pathetic how is seems on this website that PES fans have nothing better to do than point out how their game is better, then again they never have any real details to back up why its better besides stupid crap like game reviews, which I can say are bull**** anyways. A great example of that is the fact of every review site talks about how halo and halo2 are so inovative, Im sorry but I have been playing first person shooters since wolf3d and there is not one inovative thing about halo. go on over to the thread I started. http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?s=&threadid=118240
read it and you will realise how a true soccer fan feels instead of stooping to the fact of calling names and saying one is crap because they are both great games, one just has an advantage over the other and that opinion is in the mind of the player not if a game review says so

if you didnt notice the person who started this thread also included the community reviews and PES still outscored FIFA. its not just the game review its the fans that say its #1

I don't care about the outscoring at all. But it's just so childish. I wouldn't be suprised if the guy who started this thread has given a party because PES outscored FIFA.:rolleyes:

Games reviewers are also human. They will have preference of one over the other.

The feeling I have from reading the posts from PES fans is they are trying very hard to elevate PES to a "cult" status. I believe most people switch to PES because it scores well in review and also due to "peer" pressure. They wanted to be seen as someone who know a better game.

I prefer Fifa to PES for one simple reason. It's simplicity. I need not remember button combinations to pull off moves or whatever. The player run button with the first touch control are very nice additions of the series.

Most ppl will argue that FIFA is scripted. What about PES? What's with the complains about Goalkeeper standing still and CPU AI cheating in the PES forum. Isn't that scripted too? All video games are scripted anyway. Another argument is that you can never score the same goal. That is not true as the goals I scored in PES 3 seems to be similar. It is the way you play that make the difference.

Time to go now but will expect the PES empire to fight back. Anyway I don;t care.
