There is still some strong teams left unclaimed, lets not all have just euro teams this is a WORLD cup after all guys. There are good sides in asia, and especially africa. Theres also australia and some good american teams like usa, mexico, colombia etc...

Yup, I think Japan has a good team. Since the creators of PES are from Japan, it seems as if they have overrated their players a bit. All of them has a few Special Abilities, plus pretty good basic abilities.

Seedings are based on the performances in the last 2 world cups and qualifying for the last 2 world cups (I think).

For this cup, it's probably better to seed them based on how strong the teams are.

Example- Seed 1:
Brazil, France, Spain, Germany, Holland, Argentina, England, Italy.

Seed 2:Czech Republic, Sweden, Turkey, Portugal, Denmark, Uruguay....

and so on. You can spice it up by seperating nations from the same continent.

Well we'll wait and see which teams are chosen first. Perhpas it would be simpler if we put the 32 teams into order in which they appear in the fifa world rankings, then split them into four groups of 8.

Teams 1-8 = 1st Seeds
Teams 9-16 - 2nd Seeds
Teams 17-24 3rd Seeds
Teams 25-32 4th Seeds

That would make it interesting.

I don't understand why people were mad when the online league with clubs was announced and now that we have the chance to participate to a world cup league we can't even have 32 players...
There's not just Brazil and France in the game guys. Just make an effort...

I much prefer playing with national teams anyways.

Great website, this is looking very good.

Just one thing, though, about the match system.

Are we supposed to play only one match against each other, because an idea would be to use the Clanbase system: you play two games, one each as host. Then you add both your matches together. Here's an example:

Let's say Germany plays France.

1st game:
Germany (Host) vs France (Client) 2-1

2nd game:
France (Host) vs Germany (Client) 1-0

The final score is 2-2.

This system makes the games more fair as both can have a chance to host.

that won't be possible because some people can't be clients. One match it's the only solution. For those who can play as hosts and clients we could make another changment. From the 3 games they have to play, 1 of them will be as a host and the other 2 as a client. That's pretty fair. What do you think?

Its a difficult situation. Some are unable to host and some are unable to client. We will have to take a look once all the people have signed up and decide the best way of doing it. I cannot host for some reason, but i do not seem to have very noticable lag as a client.
