dammit

ive opened the file with dkzstudio, changed the name of the balls and in the game names are still old ones.

if i try to reopen the str file with afsextract i can see my new edited names!!!

Maybe I'll post a little tutorial;)

Open a x_text.file
find and highlight mode_select_?.str (I don't know what you have on ? place, i"ve got e)
Choose tools and STR editor
find block ID: &H5EA0 (but I'm not sure it doesn't change, 10th from bottom for sure)
find a ball name, ie roteiro and highlight
in a text, at the top, change ball name on anyone you want and click 'change line text'
Click 'save'
and thats all

I told I'm not sure, I've got like I have posted above. It's because lenght of any names is unlimited, but it's changing some datas (probably crc or something like this). I was changing some other datas and it has brobably changed
By the way, translating game wouldn't be so difficult;)

Thanks found it....however when i download the file it is a .msi and when i run it a command prompt windows appears for a split second and then dissapears, it doesn't seem to install it at all?

Any ideas?

the balls didn´t work for me. When the game are loading with the stadium views ( the small CD at left-down of screen ), the game crash and return to windows, and says that an error occured with pes4.exe. I have 1.10 version, maybe it´s this, because this occured for many people with this version the balls didn´t worked.

I have this same version, PES4 + patch1.1 + wolf 3.0
And it worked just with AFSExplorer (and Graphic Studio for changing the Bmp files)

I have started mapping out the lines for the puma but need decent pics of the rest of the ball. Only pics I have seen are from the front.
Plus a nice pic of the tripes would be good
