Looks exactly like the PS2 version to me, no doubt there will be higher quality textures though which we can't really tell from the vid.

It does look the same.

I have no idea why people were expecting god knows what... It's a port.

It'll look better running in 480p but aside from that... it'll be the same game.

Is it me? I think the dribbling is much too agile. Look how the player turn (around 50 seconds), that's almost 90 degrees

i don't think there'll be WE9 on the Ps2... becuz Ps2 graphics are too limited...... do you think WE9 will come on Ps3 or a new console?

Pretty graphics don't make games.

KONAMI's established a HUGE fan base among the PS2 users and will continue making WE's for PS2 until and ever after PS3 is out.

It'd be like throwing 1,500,000 copies away just because the graphics can't be better..

It was at a gaming event called Games Convention in Europe. It was playable there.

I heard PES4 got the Best Gameplay award there.

Even with the (admittedly) funky 1v1 tweaking, this game still looks more like a football match than the vids I've seen of FIFA 2005. Now I acknowledge my current bias, but I'm really trying to look at FIFA 2005 fairly.

I still don't see it. I don't think that FIFA 2005 matches the realisitc look and feel of PES3. I don't know how PES4 feels, but it looks like some things were made worse, some better (at least with the reviews of WE8)...

Bottom line: vid to vid, at this point, I'd still choose PES4. Of course, for me, its a non-issue, b/c I've committed to boycotting FIFA for one year regardless...

uh.. the number isn't 1.5m

it's sold 1m in japan alone and last year PES3 had 1mil pre-order in EU..

so ~2.5 if not 3m in total...

abandone that?

PC version will be the best, the coding is bound to improve, and I dont even need to get started about modding, I think its a better idea to upgrade your PC with the money. I think if a Pc can handle Pes3 it can run Pes4 as well, as the coding will improve.

Yes, looks a bit faster. Players are also a bit more agile (too agile) I think...

Looks too fast...it's like watching a football match on fast-forward on your video....

It'll will probably still play fine, but why can't they just simulate the speed of real football?
