PES5 is too faster or too slower? READ ME!!!

I want to explain something about PES series for PC versions:

I prefix, PES/WE games for pc are Total portings from PS2...
This cause, in pc, the game requires more and more resources, to play it at the correct speed whereby it's scheduled originally from Konami for ps2...
The correct speed it's 60 fps (frames per second). OK?

Now, you can verify, the speed on your pc, with FRAPS , a tool you must to launch before launching the game... After, play a match and check if the yellow number displayed in the screen sign 60...
Play for some minutes, and verify if 60 is displayed in all side of the field.
If 60 is stably displayed, you can play the game at corrects speed.

ATTENTION: if fraps sign a number inferior than 60, mean, that your PC isn't able to run the game correctly; so Konami for give the game playable for most of pc, since last years with WE8i and Pes4, has adopted a little trick:
Konami has scheduled the game, so as if your pc isn't able to run the game at the speed of 60fps, the game run with less frames (skipping surplus frames).
For this motive, a pc able to run the game at 40/50fps, could give you the sensation that the game run too fast! This because, now your hardware's work is lighten than if the game goes at 60fps.
This is the cause, that in some pc the game go too faster or too slower...
Assure you that Video's filter of you Graphic card, able to play the game at correct speed, try to disable them, if not...

Another counsel:
in ps2 the game is scheduled to work with TV at 60hz; in some video cards, graphic could give little snaps...
It's good, go to:
START
EXECUTE
write DXDIAG
OTHER REASONS
set CHANGE WITH, and put 60 for DirectDraw...(NOT THE REFRESH OF MONITOR, BUT IN DIRECTDRAW!!!)
In some monitor during the gaming, someone could see some flickers, you can set in your VIDEOCARD's controll pannel V-SYNC always as ON to solve the problem.

P.S: excuse me for my poor English

I always have my refresh rate of my TFT monitor fixed at 60hz, and when I have Vsync enabled too the framerate will be rocksolid on 60 all the time since Vsync limits the framerate to the refresh rate you're running on.

you can also increase your refresh of the monitor!
The refresh you have to change is in DirectDraw of windows Direct X pannel:

START\EXECUTE\ DXDIAG\ Other Reasons\ Change With\60...

With a TFT monitor you don't need a higher refresh rate, unlike a CRT monitor where 60hz ruins your eyes.
So... I just suggest people who use a TFT monitor to lock the refresh rate at 60hz and put Vsync on, then it's stable on 60 fps in-game as well (unless your computer can't handle it ofcourse)

sorry but that's not true. if you lock your refresh rate to 60hz then you have in every game only 60frames (hz from monitor = max frames). for some games that's not enough. my tft make 75hz on 1280x1024 and so i have max 75frames in the games. pes have a 60frames limit like doom 3 but you can do it more. and i never use v-sync

Or simply download Qres, put it in your PES folder, put the following in a .bat (open notepad and save as .bat) and use that same .bat to start PES. :p

Code:
qres /r:60
pes5.exe
qres /r:75
Very simpel, and very effective. Once u doubleclick the .bat, Qres will change the refreshrate of yor monitor to 60HZ, start PES and once u quit PES, Qres will change your refreshrate back to 75HZ (or any HZ u want :)).

No, it all depends on Vsync. If you never get above 75 fps in games it's because Vsync is enabled or your computer can't handle more then 75 fps. As soon as I disable Vsync on my computer I can easily get 150 to 200 fps on several games with refresh rate still at 60hz.

@Pino
you can get 300 frames but your monitor can only show your refresh rate. that's the reason wy gamer wait for tft's wich can work with more then 75hz and higher resolution. my english is to bad to explain you the details about hz/frames but if you understand german than i can do ;)

I know monitors can only physically update the screen depending on their refresh rate, I was just saying that games CAN run in higher framerates then what your refresh rate is, if Vsync is disabled :) Not that it matters since you won't see the difference...
But I still don't agree with you why you need more then 60 or 75hz on a TFT, first of all because it doesn't work like a CRT monitor, it doesn't refresh the whole screen with every update but only change the pixels that are needed, so it doesn't 'flicker' like a CRT monitor does. And when it comes to the framerate in games, you don't need more then 60 or 75 updates per second on your screen simply because the human eye can't see more then that.

Oh and you can explain me in German if you want :D
