Also the OFFICIAL PES6 guide write to use xbox360 controller for windows or a ps2 pad with usb adapter, because the game is not developed for keyboards, and players that use keyboard cant enjoy as konami thinked...

But the truth is, I just can't play with gamepads... too many years playing with the keyboard since the Spectrum time... But I agree with you is probably easier with the pad but belive me with the keyboard you can do all the combos, just have to smart when selecting the controls... the only thing is having only 8 directions in shooting and running...
honestly i play on both ! but lately i notice my hands are hurt if i continuous play several matches with the KEYBOARD
when i play with gampad i feels odd maybe cos i play lot with keyboard, i knew i could be better after few matches , but its REALLY DIFFERENT AND COOL ! i like it!
in gamepad option you cannot be exact whether you moving or shooting, that's because the shape of D-PAD controlled with 1 finger (thumb) while in keyboard option you'r cursor directional controlled by more than 2 fingers so your going very precise on which direction you shooting or moving to and by this you prevent some skills and flicks .. that's the key most players uses gampad
