PFL: season 2 player signups

Hi guys

I'ms sure that by now you all know about the PFL, but just incase I will post the full advertisement for the site, would be great to see some old faces returning, season 1 was a great success, and we are hoping to built dramatically on that

basically we are running a fantasy league using the fifa game. You can be a part of this league, and act as the players in the match.

In effect you are the players, you take part in contract negotiations, interviews and anything media related for your player.


You cna sign for one of the 8 PFL worlds clubs, including current double holders AC Milan

Other clubs in the league are
Ajax
Arsenal
Bayern Munich
Celtic
Manchester United
Newcastle

and

Real Madrid


Players ignups will be opening later today, and there are up to 20 spaces available for players


with managers waiting for new players to boposth their squads, head on over to http://soccer.pfl-net.com to check it out


the seaosn comprises of


an 8 team league, with home and away fixtures
8 team knock out cup
Champions league (for qualified teams)
PWFA cup (our version of UEFA cup) (for qualified teams)

teams finioshing 1st or second in the league will qualify for next season's champions league

3rd and 4th spot gaining the PWFA cup.


the season is completed with full match reports, detailing every goal,

depends whether you remained active throughout the season


it may well be that your player now has a new owner.

however if you are an active member of the commuinty, then you do not need to sign up again


the only time that anyinewould need to sign up again, would be if they left the site, and the plyer they created has since been given a new owner, or been removed due to being out of contract

any PFA member will be able to advise you if this is the case

haha, that's an easy one for me as to how it went for my player: not good. :p I was hoping that the increased attributes would help a bit but I don't think it did. How long before the season gets back under way, couple of weeks?

all depends on how quickly we can get working on the fifa databse

i am currently in the middle of a house move, and lar is away from home, with many having huge computer problems againa, we are currently unable to give a precise datre


but once oje of us can work on the dtabse i would imagine within 1 week (i will be able to do that in 2-3 weeks, spo i'd say 1 month at the longest)

There's a players signup thread on the forums there where you could advertise yourself if you'd like. The managers there will then contact via msn to open negotiations about signing a contract with their respective team if they're interested.

basically we are just waiting for work to be completd on the fifa databse

i would guess 2-03 weeks would be as good estimate, but keep an eye on the forums for full news as and when we get it

Yeah, every team has a manager but you can't contact them. Like I said, if they're interested, they'll contact you. ;)

lol, i got that..just jokin..anyway lookin forward to the start of the season...are there any kind of pre-season games with the teams that already have players and stuff?

Yeah, go to the forums and towards the top of the page, there's a subsection that says "PFL Fixtures - Results" if you want to check out some of the friendlies and see how the match reports look like.

not every team does actually have a manager


celtic currently only have a caretaker manager


so if you are interested then let us know :)

i seriously don't have the time or patience to do that, otherwise i'd like to..:p the thing pfl need the most is for ppl to take control of inactive players or create their own i guess..
