I can't deny that I like these movies, and bringing Geoffrey Rush back was a stroke of genius. Still, this will have to be considerably better than number two.

well they pretty much filmed the last two at the same time, so we can expect at least the same quality, plus it's a finale, so it'll probably be even better

definetly want to see it but it's not on my top 5 (nor eve 10 maybe) of most expected of the year.
I said it for the second movie that the first Pirates was great fun and all but nothing special (except for Depp), and then the second movie was bigger and with excellent effects but not as good. now this one will be good too, probably better than the second one, but I dont expect it to be anything special either.

I live in Los Angeles and went down to the beach last summer witha friend. We were hav ing lunch and we asked the waitress about the pirate looking ship off shore. she said it was THE BLACK PEARL! we rented a peddle boat and went 30 minutes out into the ocean to get a look and i had my camera. its not a reall ship but one of those flat barge things and they built a fake boat on top. we saw johnny in costume and he signed autographs for an hour after filming for 10 hours. a very nice actor.

I didn't like it. Overextended. All the "surprizes" are easy to guess. Humour also was far from impressive.

Probably gonna disappoint. These big sequels normally don't live up to their expectations. The Return of the King was an exception.

MUCH better than the 2nd which i really didn't like :)

So it's always better to go to these movies expecting the worst.... but regardless this one was really good IMO...

Very long movie, and pretty unpredictable, the humour had been cut to less than in the previous ones, but still something to laugh about. Great effects and very well done movie indeed. I'll recommend it to everyone. :)
