player energy levels are weak...

I got bored of winning everything with Juventus, so I decided to start over, and picked an English Division One team- Sc unthorpe United

I immediately noticed that NONE of the players (except the keeper) had enough energy to complete more than one damn game...all their energy is gone....even after resting them for a game or 2

I have a PS2, so patches will not work, but can someone give me some advice ??

These are supposed to be professional footballers in good shape...not 50 year old men in a weekend pickup game :)

hi bro,the same thing happended to me.u need to upgrade your medical staff.
juve on ps2/other consoles is in Seria A with a high prestige so u might not need to upgrade the staff. for clubs w/ lower prestige update your staff.

Fatigue is a big problem for League Two teams and you'll need to get yourself to the position of having at least 22 usable players ASAP, with at least two for each position and preferably a couple of spare midfielders and at least one CB that can play RB/LB decently.

I also had to adjust my style of play when switching from FIFA 06, and the same may apply to someone moving down from a top level club, no more sprinting willy nilly just used sparingly when it creates (or prevents) a goal scoring opportunity and use defensive mentality to reduce the wear and tear on your RB/LB (they don't try and overlap so much with that mentality).

Finally the advice about improving your medical staff is sound, but that only helps with fatigue reduction between games. To improve the amount of fatigue incurred during a game you need to improve the outfield position coaches too, especially defense and midfield in my experience

Some players will flat out refuse but you can check whether you have any chance whatsoever in the negotiation history, there is a tab which shows how close you are to signing the player. if the arrow is in the middle of the graph try offering more money or more bonuses, depending on what it suggests. South America is a great place to look for cheap players who might be willing to play for a League 1 side.

I found it difficult to get (half decent) players to come to a League Two side and concentrated mostly on scouting during the first couple of seasons. If you do get transfers or free agents to sign then you'll probably be paying them over the odds, so scouting is generally a better way of getting usable players at a decent cost.
