"Player Names" not visible in status bar

For what seems like no reason at all, the players' names in the bar at the bottom are not showing up anymore, regardless of the settings I choose...Any help would be appreciated..

It's a JPEG image file saved using Paint, you idiot...of course it's gonna look like that

I'm using a Geforce 4 Ti4200, but that has nothing to do with my problem...The names showed up before, but for some reason I only get that blank box now..

I have the same problem, its because the unlock patch.
delete the file A. Setting in My Documents\Fifa 2005

there's a simple solution... buy a console!! I don't understand people that play games on a cpu instead of a console(no offense). Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but I just don't get it.

i noticed that happened sometimes in FIFA 2004 usually afetr u made subs on the menu screen, they would come bac if you scored or something

The people that play on PC like to mod the game, or at least, most of them do. They like to import boots, balls, kits, player faces, etc. That's why they like to play on PC.

I play on XBox, but I modded the 2005 demo a bit, and I must say...if you're into modding, it's quite fun.

Yes after installing the Unlock Patch, I had the same problem. So is there another unlock patch that wont cause this??

yes, I was wondering this myself........ cuz this patch is perfect except for that......... and that's a major problem

There are two different Unlock patches that I've found so far. This one at Filefront only unlocks 63 kits but it still shows player's names.

Make sure you check out the read me and do a backup of the My Documents folder first because you will lose ALL your previous settings.
