Ahh,i knew i shouldn't put the flag but mutu really is one of the best strikers,he was voted the second best non-italian player after nedved last year in italy and there are many good players in il calcio (trezeguet,crespo,shevcenko etc.) and also chivu is one of the best defenders , voted nr. 2 in europe after r.carlos

Well, one of the fastest players in football, HSV's Mehdi Mahdavikia is very slow in the game.

Looks like EA doesn't realize that there are decent players that doesn't play for the top 10 clubs....

Ppl here just don't realize that these ratings are the summ of the other individual ratings. Yet NONE should be 100. that would mean that person had 10 in fitness, speed, ball control, shooting, passing, heading, tackling and strength (if the ratings are the same as last year). And as far as I know ... NONE, Specially not Ronaldo and other strikers, should deserve more than 2 in tackling at the very max. Take Vieri for example. Say he gets GREAT ratings. Say he gets
10 in fit
9 in spd (he is fast, but not the fastest)
9 in shooting (noone can say he's shooting like masters like Del Piero, Rui Costa, Rob Carlos, Becks and likely)
8 in passing (again, he is no passer like Zidane, Rui Costa, Del Piero, Totti .... )
10 in heading
9 in Ball control (Same as pss and sht)
10 in strength
and 3 in tackle at the most....
now DO YOUR MATH!!! would this give 100? This goes for ALL players. You should look at the INDIVIDUAL ratings, instead of the overall. Because an overall player being medium-good in containing, yet pysically very capable, and with the strategic eye, and a good shooting, is overall much more valuable than a good striker overall. There will always be some ratings that pull players down. Like ... it's HILARIOUS that ronaldo is 98. I bet he's tackling is set to 9 or something, JUST to DISTINGUISH him as the best, while all the persons in the above list have the same 10 in shooting and ball control, which is the only thing ppl distinguish them on, or look at. In other words, I bet the players on that list are almost the same ... with different tackling ratings.

Oh, by the way ... you may say whatever your mama jokes if that makes you cream ... Ronaldo WAS a god. Now he's Bugs Bunny

Oh yeah I agree on that. But in that case I don´t think in a strikers attrbiute tackling shoould be in. for.ex. a goalie only have goalie things. defenders defender things etc

On logic ... which you don't seem to have if you don't understand what I write.
1. read what I wrote ... it says "if they are like last year". To cut it out for you, this is my own presumption, not having got the game. If you don't know what a presumption is, it means the same as assuming. If you don't know what assuming means, look it up in a dictionary!
2. Ronaldo wasn't one of the best strikers of the world ... he was THE BEST STRIKER IN THE WORLD ... WAS. Ever since his injury he has lost his impressive form, and is now a high range attacker, yet I wouldn't kick Vieri for Ronaldo ... nor Del Piero. Personal opinion, which ppl should be civilized enough to respect.
3. In Real Life or In Game? In Real Life for sure.
