Playing a "classic" season

In fifa 2000, EA had put classic teams such like Arsenal 71', Liverpool 77' ...but all you could do with them was to play friendly games. What I am dreaming about is to be able to play with fifa 2004 a whole "classic" season, for instance the English Premier league 70-71, 89-90...Some classic games with shorts, tactics and balls of those times...

If you want classic teams, about the only thing you can do is create something yourself or wait for the first part of fifaretro on which I'm working these days. I will put the European Club finals in. So you can play all the finals. If you have any suggestions for some great teams be my guest.

Great idea to make a classic patch. Besides the teams which won the european champions cup final, I think that Leeds of 70/71, Arsenal of 70/71 and 89/90, Kiev of 75, Magdebourg of 73 were great teams...

Benfica from the 60's ruled :)! With Eusébio, Torres, Simões, Coluna...

AC Milan from the early 90's with Maldini, Baresi, Van Basten, Rijkaard, Gullit, etc also left its mark in European football. :D

Manchester United 98/99 won everything they were involved in... something very rare and unique...

Brazil from 58 to 70 with Pele and Garricha rocked eheh

Italy 82 were also great!

Portugal from WC 66 made a tremendous impact. The first time Portugal got qualified for the World Cup, finished 3rd, and only weren't at least finalists because of the ****ing organisation that changed the venue of the semi-final between England and Portugal from Liverpool to Wembley, London, about 10 hours before the game, and the English team were already in London... The game finished 2-1 for England, with Eusébio leaving the field crying because of the loss.

Good sugestions, most were already planned. I'll try to release the first part towards the end of january/early february. I have little time the coming weeks. Next week for school to Bruxelles, then a week to finish 3 projects, a week exams and then finally some rest. I'll do what I can these last free days. I'm already over halfway. If you want to know the state of the project you can visit my site: http://fifaretro.tripod.com
