Playing 'Manager Mode'w/custom squads

spent a few minutes editing the squads/formations/roles of a few major clubs
i would like the cpu to use the custom info i set up since it's usually the team's best line up based on ratings + positioning on the field

is there any i can achieve this on manager mode

ex}
if i'm playing manager mode in Bundesliga.....Robben is still on reserves for Bayern Munich....after i edit the squad to have him in their starting XI

I guess it's because of the new managermode system, other coaches will rotate too now. I played a friendly vs Atlético and Simao played as a striker :s.

Btw, when you play in Germany, do you notice anything strange about the scoreboard, or is it in the same place as in exhebition matches?

change the resolution of the game from fifaconfig.exe, put one with aspect ratio 16:9

It is at aspect ratio 16:9... And the scoreboard is placed perfectly normal when playing an exhebition match. Anyway, wrong topic, I have one concerning this in the support forum... Sorry to goke313.

I think you're right. You could try changing the formations and players both, maybe that will help? If you make sure Robben is the only RW on Bayern, and you let them play with an RW, it would be very weird if he doesn't play... Btw, who played on his position then? Altintop? Kroos?

i believe it was Mueller
i'm very dissipointed with EA...not allowing users to edit squads in MM

even when i started my manager mode with Chelsea....they automatically put Malouda on the bench for Benyaoun.

I'm thinking it is possible to edit squads, no? You can't edit the other team's squads, but you have unlimitid options concerning your own squad. But remember to set help coach off, it's a pain in the ass.

I have the same problem with scoreboard while playing with Bundesliga teams
and it's also on exhebition match wrong placed. I have a 16:9 resolution and
the Premier League scoreboard works fine. Anyone knows how to fix that?

PL scoreboard is perfect

but in other leagues when playing in tournament mode it's too low

I think we have to change the Aspect Ratio in any way, but how?

Not a clue, but this thread is about the squads in managermode. I've been playing some more myself, and here are some of the stupid things I noticed:

chelsea: Drogba and Anelka on the wings, Kalou striker and Lampard on the bench
Arsenal: no Vermaelen or Chamakh, Sagna centre defence, Djourou rightback
Liverpool: Skrtel and Agger wingbacks, Johnson centre defence, Mereilles leftback
Barcelona: Pedro striker, Villa left foreward, Iniesta and Xavi on the bench

This is pathetic. Has EA tested the MM? And if so, do they know anything about football?

I've been looking into players bio's, and I figured out what's causing the issue. It's the other positions assigned to players. For instance, Sagna has RB as favourite position, and RWB and CB as extra. Djourou has CB as favourite, and RB as extra. For some reason the game doesn't make a difference, and just places Djourou rightback and Sagna in the centre.

It is not possible though to change or delete those extra positions for a player. I we can soon access and edit the database, hopefully trough CM11. It would take some work to change all players extra positions, but it would solve the problem, I think.
