I'm sure many of you know this already, but for myself I have only just got ISS Pro Evolution 1 and 2 and also Winning Eleven 2002 running on my PC using ePSXE Playstation 1 Emulator.

If anyone is interested you can see how to do it at:

http://www.graaskov.co.uk/howtoissonpc/howtointro.htm

and yes, I do have ISS 3 on the PC but my old PSX games play a lot better on my PC!

Apologies if this has been covered many times before. Its just that when I was trying to do it there wasn't much I could find to help out so it was a lot of trial and error involved!

Check with me too.

I've set up over 100 people with either PES2 or WE2002 for the ePSXe emulator over the past few months so I can help you get either game.

They both run perfectly on a half decent PC with an average graphics card and the game is easy to speed up or slow down by altering the frame rate and turning certain graphical features on/off in the configuration for the emulator.

For those who don't want to bother with ISS3 get the ePSXe emulator and play PES2/WE2002 because they rule.

is there an equivalent PS2 emulator? I'd love to be able to play my PS2 version of PES2 on my PC!
If not, did PES2 come out for the PSX?

Great guide, I think I'll get started trying to play ISSPE2 on my PC. I own a PSX and that game but winning eleven 2002, no idea how I can get hold of that. Is that game even in english?

The version of Winning Eleven 2002 which I bought in Singapore is of the one leg, parrot on shoulder, 'Arrrggh Jim lad' variety and it came patched with team/player names in English . Commentary in Japanese though. Mind you the commentary in Japanese is probably more atmospheric than the English commentary in ISSPE2!

PES2 did come out for the PSX
I bought it today. I haven't had a chance to play it much yet, but it looks pretty much the same as Winning Eleven 2002 but with English commentary.

Lots of places!

There are lots of, ahem, places you can get PES2 and WE2002 for the ePSXe emulator. All I'm saying is anything with (The Wolf) after it is the genuine article but other versions I wouldn't waste your time because they'll end up being "dog loves woman big time" or some other dubious file!

If you want the games it'll take you a few days but no longer than if you could order them by mail anyway.

I don't advocate piracy of Konami games but what the freak can you do if you live in a country where you can't buy them or import them to play on the PS1?!?!?
